Collection of information and privacy protection

Just Ask Us makes every effort to adhere to the Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Websites developed by the Australian Privacy Commissioner. More information

Information provided through the JustAskUs website will comply with Information Privacy Principles, and particularly principles 1 to 3, 10 and 11.

Stated simply these principles are:

Just Ask Us does not collect information that can identify any person who visits the site. However, when someone visits the site, our server makes a record of the visit and logs the following information for anonymous reporting of traffic statistics:

This information is analysed each month to help us monitor traffic loads and accessibility of the pages on our site. No attempt will be made to identify persons using the site, except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may wish to inspect server log files.

Just Ask Us will only record your email address in the event that you send us a message by email. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it. Just Ask Us uses 'cookies' for maintaining contact with a user during and between web browsing sessions. A cookie is a small file supplied by Just Ask Us and stored on your computer by your web browser software when you access this site.
